Small-Medium Business Traveler Report 2021

Business travelers entering the post-pandemic era from companies with fewer than 1,000 employees universally want to get back out on the road, and see their companies facing severe consequences if they do not increase travel soon Among their concerns, travelers report there will be fewer deals signed or existing contracts renewed.

The stakes are also high personally for travelers as they fear making less money, not advancing in their career and losing their job if corporate travel does not pick up. However, as much as they want to travel more, they expect to do so with increased flexibility throughout the process.

The report highlights survey results from 1,650 business travelers in 6 SMB markets - US, Canada, UK, France, ANZ Region (Australia New Zealand) and Japan - to determine the best strategy to bridge the gap between the needs of today’s business travelers and pre-pandemic travel norms.
